Evening and Weekend Programs
EVENING PROGRAM
CALEDON CLUB AND SOUTHFIELDS VILLAGE:
Lil’ Warriors 4-7 years old: Lil’ Warriors Program has been designed so that children under 8 years old can still participate in our Martial Arts Program without diluting our comprehensive belt syllabus. These forty-five-minute classes are designed based on the child’s attention span and the parent/ caregiver waiting period.
As younger students enter the martial arts MuDo wants to ensure that these Lil’ Warriors have goals to work towards, and we instil this by offering belts that they can achieve based on their age. The Lil’ Warrior’s program material is separated into four promotions from Black Stripe to Green stripe. This provides the students with the opportunity to progress through the material and achieve the different belts while reaching their goals.
COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM 8YRS OLD AND UP
These 50-minute classes are designed for students 8yrs old & up. The syllabus is introduced at a faster pace with a focus on kicking techniques, hand motions, sparring drills and self-defence. White belt students test for yellow stripe and beyond, with a range of 20-30 classes between each belt until blue belt where the minimum changes to 35 to 40 classes between ranks, and red belt where the minimum changes to 45 classes and six months between ranks.
